Între aceste săli pustii.
O, cine mi-ar fi spus odată
Că toate le voi moșteni:
Și punți, și lebede, și granguri,
Și porțelanuri chinezești,
Palatul tot, străpuns de granguri,
Și teii cu splendori cerești,
Chiar umbra mea, sluțind-o dinții
