tot Soarele ce nu-i încape-n minte
mulțimea noapte-I spune și-așa-l cheamă.
Dar noaptea e firavă ca o scamă
ce piere lângă flacăra fierbinte.
Amnarul cu al cremenii rău dinte
într-o clipită vălul i-l destramă.
Și este fiica Soarelui și-a Terrei:
el o născu, ea-i este cuib de umbră –
de vreți sorgintea ei să i se știe.
Dar lauda ce i se dă scădere-i:
e văduvă și-n gelozie sumbră
un licurici de-ajuns e s-o sfâșie.
