Ni-s oare? – În mormânt:
Loc mai frumos le-ascunde
Mai fericite sunt!.
Sunt lângă îngeri toate,
În cer albastru, sus,
Și laude curate
Spun Maicii lui Iisus!.
Fecioară înflorită!
Mireasă albă, tu!
Amanta părăsită
Și veștedă acu!.
În ochi odinioară
V-au râs adânci vecii..
În cer v-aprindeți iară,
Stinse, lumești făclii!
