Bate vântul frunza-n dungă,
Dorul meu să te ajungă.
Bate tare, -n lung şi-n lat,
Că te-am iubit, nu-i păcat.
E păcat că m-ai minţit
Şi sufletul mi-ai otrăvit.
Mi-ai otrăvit şi inima,
Când ţi-ai bătut joc de ea.
Frunză verde trei migdale,
Vai de păcatele tale…
Păcatu-ţi fie mântuirea,
Când vei şti ce-i fericirea.
Dar în sufletul tău hain,
E doar otravă şi venin.
Buze dulci, apetisante,
Ca merele injectate…
Le săruţi, sunt dulci ca mierea
Dar sufletul, amar ca fierea.
Bată vântul frunza-n dungă,
La mine să nu ajungă…
Să o ducă cât mai departe,
De ea să nu mai am parte!
